Your teacher
I have been
working as an English teacher since 1995. My first experience of
English teaching was overseas in Turkey where I lived for two
years. After that I returned to the UK and started teaching English
in language schools here.
I started this
website in 2005 because I had always been interested in technology
and wanted to see if it was possible to combine it with teaching
students from all over the world.
I live in Cardiff, the capital city of Wales in the UK. In my free time, I love cycling, listening to world music, travel, watching documentaries and films from other countries, reading, playing the classical guitar and cooking!

In my lessons, I
am always organised and professional. My lessons are carefully
planned and prepared for each individual learner.
I interact with my students in a friendly, patient and supportive way (listen to examples). I'm always ready to give feedback and help to my students and to help them understand language points with clear and careful explanations.

My teaching philosophy
I try to make my
lessons interesting, dynamic and fun by trying to connect lessons
with the subjects and topics my students are interested in. I am
always flexible in lessons and adapt to my students' needs.
