The Online English Centre is a social website for our English students where they can practise their English 24/7.

For students taking online lessons the website is free. If you want to join the site without lessons, the website costs £5 per month on a Paypal subscription.

If you are not taking online lessons, you must make this payment before your membership is approved. Use the subscribe button on the front page of the Centre to buy membership.

If you would like your English students at your school to join the website, then the membership fees are £1 per student per month. (Minimum 10 students)

In the Online English Centre, you can practise your English by using many different activities. Some activities you can do by yourself and others you can do by interacting with other students in discussions. The website is designed to give you the chance to practise your English by using it in real communication.

You can try a special discussion activity called conversation tennis with all the other site members. There are ten different topics for practising using different question forms. One person answers the last question and then makes a new question for others to answer.

Every week, a different member of the site is featured. In this activity, the other site members ask the featured member their questions.

A new grammar topic is featured every week, giving all students the chance to practise it by making their own new sentences.

In our Word of the Day activity, students can practise learning new words in English by using them in their blogs.

We have designed an interactive activity for pronunciation practise in which you can record yourself practising some difficult words and sounds in English. Visit this page to see how it works.

You can also practise your writing in the website with other students. Creat stories, dialogues and pieces of descriptive writing with other people!
