In the demonstration you will see how to join a lesson, see examples of teaching materials and you can ask me any questions you have. I will also talk to you to learn more about your learning objectives. It's important for me that you understand how my teaching system works.

Equipment you need to study online

Skype
You will need Skype so we can talk in lessons. If you don't have Skype you can download it for free from the Skype website.

Stable and fast Internet connection
You will need to have a stable and fast Internet connection for lessons. A broadband connection is essential.

Headset microphone
A headset microphone will give you the best possible audio quality when we speak in lessons.

Buy your lessons online on Paypal

You buy lessons from my website safely and securely using your credit card on Paypal. Lessons are available in monthly study packages which you buy before your lessons start.

There are two lesson time options available (60 and 45 minutes). The price for each option is different. If you want to see the prices of lessons visit the prices page and if you want to buy lessons visit the buy lessons page.

You can change the way you study and the number of lessons you take at any time. If you'd like to buy extra lessons for the month then that's no problem. You can always increase how intensively you are studying.

How to join a lesson

It's easy to join my lessons. On my website you click on the Go To Meeting Meet now button at the top of the site. This will take you to the Go To Meeting log-in page.

I will give you the meeting ID number and on the Go To Meeting website you enter this number. The first time we meet some meeting software will automatically download to your computer.

It will take a few seconds for our computers to connect and then you will be able to see your lesson from my computer screen.

See the lesson in real-time on your screen

Go To Meeting software will let you see your lesson from my computer just like in a classroom. You will see the lesson in real-time so if I do something on my screen, you will see that immediately on your computer.

This means it's easy to do activities using my teaching materials because you will see them on your computer screen. The software I use gives the best and fastest online learning experience possible.

Get real-time feedback on your English

Seeing the lesson means that I can give you real-time feedback on your English in the lesson. When you speak I will make notes on your English and I will listen carefully for any problems with vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation.

My feedback will help you to learn from your mistakes in English and to get more information about how you can improve. I always give feedback in a supportive and professional way.

Get the lesson sent to you

When the lesson is finished I will send you a copy of all the lesson activities as well as all the feedback from the lesson. I will send this to you as a file (Microsoft Word) on Skype but I can also send PDF files as well.

Your lesson notes and materials will always be professionally organised so that you can review everything you studied in the lesson at a later time.

Do practice activities after the lesson

After each lesson, I can give you practice exercises to do as homework. I share Google documents with my learners so that they can do additional writing tasks and other kinds of practice activities after each class.

Using Google Docs will give you an easy way to do extra work after the class. You don't need to send me an email because all your work will be stored on the Internet.

This will help you to learn more about your English by listening to the class again. I also give some of my learners listening activities to do using the lesson audio. You will be able to listen to your class again just a few minutes after the lesson.

Study with a flexible timetable system

In my system, you have your lessons on the days and times that suit you best. I work from 9am to 7pm UK time from Monday to Sunday but I have less availability at weekends generally.

We book your next lesson time at the end of each class but if you prefer a fixed timetable I can book in all your preferred times subject to availability. You can always check your lesson time by visiting my schedule page in the website (students only).

If you need to reschedule a class then that will be fine. My only rule about this is that you must cancel your class before the day of the lesson. If you cancel your class on the same day as the lesson then you will lose this class.

Study 1 to 1

In the 1 to 1 option there is just one student in the lesson. This means you can learn much faster than in the classroom because you get much more time to practise your English skills in the lesson.

Studying one-to-one means that you practise your English more intensively and you can develop your listening and speaking skills by communicating with a native speaker teacher.

It also means that the service you are getting is 100% customised to you and your learning needs. You learn at the pace that is best for you at all times and you have more control and input over the content and direction of your learning.

Follow an individual learning program

I offer lessons in the following subjects and areas listed below. However, I also learners offer custom-made programs based exactly on their personal learning objectives.
